WHAT WE DO

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS

Leerparacrecer offers a variety of programs and projects aimed at promoting literacy and education in underserved communities. Through our initiatives, we strive to foster a lifelong love for reading, facilitate access to quality literature, and create opportunities for bilingual learning. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals through the transformative power of books and storytelling.

Community Outreach

Our community outreach programs aim to connect with low-income neighborhoods and provide them with access to a diverse range of books and educational resources. We believe that by fostering a culture of reading and learning, we can empower individuals and communities to thrive.

Enriching Lives Through Stories

At Leerparacrecer, we recognize the profound impact of storytelling in enriching lives and nurturing empathy. Our early education programs are designed to introduce children to the joy of reading and the power of multiple narratives, fostering a love for diverse perspectives and experiences.

Bilingual Education

We are committed to promoting bilingualism by providing resources and support for language learning. Our efforts are focused on creating an inclusive environment where individuals can develop proficiency in multiple languages, opening doors to broader opportunities and cultural enrichment.

WHERE WE WORK

Fiesta del Libro 2025

Get ready to celebrate! On April 26, 2025, with the incredible support of the Walton County Recreation Department, we launched the very first La Fiesta Del Libro at Padgett Park! We proudly donated over 300 Spanish books to more than 70 families, and nothing could match the joy we felt seeing the smiles on the faces of every child, teen, and adult who entered the "book room." We can't wait to make this an annual springtime tradition!
